“Very soon after moving to Westfield, our church announced they would be partnering with Family Promise and other churches in Hamilton County. We signed up and six months later Family Promise was up and running. Because we are retired we volunteered to stay overnight at our church with our guests. I think it is wonderful that churches use their buildings to give those temporarily without shelter a safe stay at night, hot meals in the evening, and breakfast before leaving for the day. We become quite attached to our guests over the week and love being 'grandma and grandpa' to the precious children in the program. What a blessing it is to have a resource like Family Promise in our community.
